Welcome! I’m Sage Rountree (yes, that’s my real name), a specialist in yoga for athletes; an endurance sports coach, runner, and triathlete myself; and an author (my writing includes
The Athlete’s Guide to Yoga, The Athlete’s Pocket Guide to Yoga, and contributions to Runner’s World and Yoga Journal Online). While I’m based in Chapel Hill, NC, I teach workshops on yoga for athletes across the United States. Please join me for one!

My goal as a
coach, teacher, and writer is to help you find the connections between sport, yoga, and living well. Whether you are a seasoned or an aspiring endurance athlete, a tennis pro or a middle-school volleyball player, a serious yogi or an occasional gymgoer, a teacher of yoga for athletes or simply a curious reader, I hope you will find something useful here. You might be especially interested in Sage Yoga Training, my podcast of short yoga-based post-workout stretches, or in the free sample plans I’ve written for runners and triathletes.

This site is organized with both menus (above) and submenus (at left), which should make content easy to access. If you enjoy what you read, consider adding a link to this site from yours, which will help others find me. Please
let me know if you have any trouble navigating or loading the pages.

Namaste,
Sage
