While the majority of my hobbies (yoga, sports) are tied up in my work, I also enjoy eating, especially snacking on good bread—better still, with wine and cheese—and count myself very fortunate to have easy access to Weaver Street Market’s bakery, and to live near other good sources of crusty bread such as Rue Cler. In my recovery time, I overcompensate for my PhD in literature by watching serial TV dramas, following NFL football (yes, I wept tears of joy when I heard Jerry Richardson had been awarded the Carolina Panthers franchise as an expansion team), and reading mystery novels and non–literary fiction.
If you still want to know more about me, please read my blog and sign up for my newsletter (there’s a signup form at left). Take it a step further: be my friend and fan on Facebook, and follow me on Twitter. And in case you were wondering, yes, Sage is my real name. My parents, looking for a flower name, found it in the Burpee seed catalog.
